Malta Reviw

I was just thinking about writing a final review about my tri to Malta with the STS company. I had great fun! i learned to know a lot of new people and got a lot of new friends. I think i grew it myself during the trip. If you are thinking to go alone, without any friends, like I did you are going to learn to know alot of people, but there are at least one thing that is inferior with traveling alone...of course you get alot of friends on the place but in the end there are no one that really knows you, there are nobody you know or can trust to 100%. so there is a advantage to travel with a friend because then you have someone you can trust and lean back to, like a safety. If I´m not totally wrong you can travel with a friend but still stay in different host families. But of course there are many advantages with traveling alone also.
+ I got alot of new friends
+ I had an amazing teacher, Kyra
+ I got to try the Maltese culture, the food, the traffic, the people..
+ I grew as a person
+ I learned to take responsibility
+ I got some amazing memories to take home

- My activity group went to international, I traveled with a Finish group from Finland and i went on the international language trip. In my group we were 19 students 15 of them were frome Finland. there were another group with a swedish leader in that group i think there were most just Swedish and Danish students. I think it was hard to get to know people from other countries. for example we didn't have any acquaintances games.
- On the grounds of what i just wrote above, I learned almost as much finish as i learned english at this trip. And I was really bad at finnish when i got there.. one of the finish friends i got there said that she nearly didn't understand a word of what i was saying when i spoke finnish, in the beginning. When I left Malta I had been speaking English and Finish all the time so i got pretty good at it.
- The busses were almost everytime late. Usually we waited about 15 minutes for the bus to arrive to our bus stop, but there were times that we waited over 45 minutes.
- There were just Finns living in the same host family as i did, even tho I had chosen the international language trip. Later i got to know that if I would have wanted to stay with people from other countries i should have send a email (or something like that) saying that i wanted to live with people from other countries. My opinion is that: If I have chosen the international language trip it should be a matter of curse that I wanted to stay in a host family with students from other countries.

You have to notice that i traveled with the STS company so this is not compatible with other language schools. And this is also my story and my experiences of my trip.
I created some awesome memories on my trip to Malta and it was a great experience.
